This is the next step in my adventure. I have long dreamed of walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. The trip is 500 miles, and begins in St. Jean Pied du Port in France, up over the Pyrenees, and into Spain. I then go straight across the upper part of Spain to Compostela de Santiago. What I bring with me I will carry on my back, so I will be traveling light, like a true pilgrim.
My journey began with a dream years ago. I had seen the movie “The Way” with Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez. the movie is about one father’s journey. It inspired me. I have been researching and studying everything I can find since then. This is my next great adventure. I will chronicle my preparation monthly, leading up to my journey. Until then, Buen Camino.
